I like it because your articles are available immediately. Subscribers to your blog are notified when you make an addition to your blog.

Articles can be short or long. They can express your opinions on current events. They can provide valuable content to those reading your blog.

Through this process, your readers are getting to know you. If you are not being overly promotional in your blog, readers respect you and are grateful for the information you are providing them.

You have probably searched for information on the internet. I have many times. When I come to a blog or website that is obviously promotional and is pushing me to buy something, it turns me off.

On the other hand, I find websites that provide a lot of the information I am looking for. I immediately feel a much closer relationship with the owner of the site.

For one thing, I feel the person has an interest in me and is not just looking out for themselves.

Oh, I know that the person probably wants to sell me something. But because of the information they have provided me, I have a much greater desire to get to know them and do business with them.

I think of the person as one who is knowledgeable, is successful, and has a real interest in helping me.

So this is the approach I use in setting up a website, and certainly a blog. I want people to come back to my blog. I want them to look forward to reading the information I publish.
